golf pendant

A pair of diamond earrings, a diamond bracelet or necklace are the finishing touch when dressing up, adding elegance and glamour to a woman's whole being.

Keep your loved ones close to you at all times by wearing or offering a unique diamond pendant, such as a heart shape diamond.

Diamond quality

Buying quality jewelry starts with understanding what diamond quality is all about. Each diamond is unique. In the 1940s and ’50s, the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) developed the four C's and the GIA International Diamond Grading System™ to objectively compare and evaluate the quality of diamonds.

Avoid purchasing dull, lifeless stones! The information on the four C's helps you to understand the importance of buying certified, excellent cut top quality diamonds, resulting in exceptional brilliance and fire of your diamond (jewelry).

A Golf Events Today diamond isn’t just like any other diamond. It is nothing less than a top quality gemstone adding elegance and glamour to a woman's whole being.

Carat

The standard unit of weight for diamonds is the metric carat: one carat is equal to 0.2 grams.

Color

Diamond color is all about what you can’t see, or how closely they approach colorlessness.

Clarity

Diamond clarity refers to the absence of either internal inclusions or external blemishes.

Cut

Cut does not refer to shape, but to the Symmetry, Proportions and Polish of a diamond.

Every diamond is unique. Two diamonds of equal carat weight can have very different values depending on the other members of the four C’s: clarity, color and cut. Slight differences in specifications make a very big difference in diamond quality and appearance.

All Golf Events Today diamonds come with a recent official certificate from the Hoge Raad voor Diamant (HRD Antwerp - www.hrdantwerp.be), which is the coordinating body and official representative of the Belgian diamond sector.

Detailed information on the four C's can be found in our diamond education center.

Cupid

Giving a diamond is an act of true love, which creates immense excitement at your loved one.

Cupid (the God of love in Roman mythology and son of Venus) is brought to live within your brilliant. Cupid is frequently represented as a (nearly) naked boy with golden wings carrying bow and arrows. According to the legends, Cupid shoots arrows into the heart of people and gods to make them fall in love.

Due to the Excellent cut (proportions, symmetry and polish) of our brilliants a spectacular pattern of Cupid’s Hearts & Arrows symbols are clearly visible in our certified diamonds.

A complete and precise visual pattern of eight heart shapes is seen while looking down through the pavilion and eight arrowheads when viewing the stone in the table up position which can be seen. The length of the lower girdle facets affects whether Hearts and arrows can be seen in the stone, under certain viewers. The Hearts and Arrows pattern appears only in brilliant-cut diamonds that have very good parallelism and optical symmetry. In order to display this pattern flawlessly, the diamond's top facet (table facet) must be exactly perpendicular to the bottom of the diamond or pavilion. It must also be cut to have great symmetry of its major facets and have particular lengths of its lower girdle facets.
